Solid Axis executed a complex utility diversion project on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, relocating existing water, sewer, electrical, and telecom infrastructure to enable construction of a major commercial development.
The project required live utility diversions without service interruption, achieved through careful sequencing, nighttime works, and close coordination with all utility providers (ADDC, ADSSC, EAD, Etisalat).
Scope of Work
- Diversion of 600m existing potable water main
- Diversion of 400m existing sewer line
- Relocation of 12 electrical and telecom chambers
- Night-time live cutovers with zero service interruption
- Authority re-inspection and commissioning
